Letter from the Principal
Spring is upon us and that means that there are only about 12 weeks left of school. As we enter into the third and last trimester, please make sure your student makes the most of the next 60 school days. If you have questions with regard to where your student stands, please give our office a call.
We just completed our WASC review and I am happy to report that the review was a success. WASC is the acronym for Western Association of School and Colleges and gives all schools validation for their programs. Our WASC visitors loved our campus and students, and so do we!
We will administer the CAHSEE again on May 12th and 13th for those seniors who have not previously passed. In order to receive a diploma, your student must pass the CAHSEE.
Graduation is just around the corner. The cost of caps and gowns is $35.00 If you need help paying for this, please let our office know. Graduation practice is on June 2nd at 2:00 p.m. and graduation day is June 3rd at 6:00 p.m. in the DHS Theater. If you have any questions regarding the graduation process, please call our office.
Whether your student is a sophomore, junior or senior, please help him/her by making sure they are earning all their credits. If a student does not receive at least 3 credits in any given class, they will receive an F with 0 credits earned.
The best way to help your student is by staying involved!
