·An information night about financial aid will be held at Dixon HS on October 17th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the Library for all graduating seniors and their parents. I strongly encourage you to attend. They will help you begin your FAFSA application, and give you information about Cal Grants and Pell Grants as well as other financial aid opportunities.
·This year’s College & Career Fair takes place THIS THURSDAY on October 18th. Remember to “Dress for Success” that day!! Dressing for Success means women can wear a blouse with trousers or a skirt, or a dress; men wear collared shirts with trousers. Ties are optional. All participants who dress for success will receive a raffle ticket, then at the end of the fair, we will hold a raffle. Don’t miss out and be sure to Dress for Success THIS THURSDAY!!!!
·The ASVAB will be administered on October 25th, if you are interested in taking the exam, please let your advisor know.
·Only three weeks or 14 school days left to this trimester , so make sure you are working hard in all your classes to complete all of your credits!!!
·There will be a Saturday School on October 27th! This will be a great opportunity to make up an absence and work on completing your credits!!!
