  • Congratulations to our Students of the Month for the month of October: Austin Wristen – Art, Nayid Ceja – Curriculum Support, Cade Bailey – English, Simon Villegas, Integrated Math 1, Marcos Mapes – PE, Brisa Herrera – Biology, Alfredo Bravo – Earth Science, Makayla Roby – Economics, Tony Martino – World History, Anthony Pires – Dixon Community Day School.

 

  • Congratulations to the following students who had perfect attendance for the month of October: Oscar Garcia, Steven Gonzalez, Isaiah Hernandez, Pedro Leon, and Simone Turner.

 

  • Congratulations to the following students who had perfect weekly attendance: For the week of October 30th: Brisa Flores, Alex Garcia, Oscar Garcia, Anthony Hernandez, Pedro Leon and Alyssa Verduzco and at the Day School – Isaiah Tripp. For the week of November 6th: Ricky Aragon, Alfredo Bravo, Scott Forgues, Elizabeth Gonzalez, Anthony Hernandez, Brisa Herrera, Sierra Mann, Cynthia Negrete, Makayla Roby, Kennith Sosa, Jennifer Vega and at the Day School – Isaiah Tripp. For the week of November 13th: Ethan Buford, Brisa Flores, Oscar Garcia, Anthony Hernandez, Blair Hicks and Pedro Leon and at the Day School, Isaiah Tripp and Anthony Pires both had perfect weekly attendance.

 

  • Show your Maine Prairie Pride and attend a Leadership meeting THIS WEDNESDAY during Advisory in the MPR to plan Spirit Week for next week. Please sign up to attend in the front office. This is a great way for our 5th year seniors to earn much needed community service hours!

 

  • FAFSA – Financial Aid application is due.  Please visit https://fafsa.ed.gov/ to fill out the application.  If you have questions, please stop by to see Mrs. Arias.

 

 

Students must earn at least 3.0 credits in order to earn a passing letter grade. Students who do not earn at least 3.0 credits will fail the course, receive an F, and become ineligible for credits. Remember that 3 tardies = 1 absence, 6 absences = minus .5 credit and 12 absences = minus 1 credit. Be sure you are working hard to earn all 5 credits in all your classes. And don’t forget that you MUST earn 3 credits in order to earn any at all! Come on and get those credits done!
